Tortoise 1-5 Puzzle | Lanka Kade
A brilliantly designed wooden counting puzzle from Lanka Kade where the tortoise’s shell becomes the puzzle itself — five interlocking pieces slot together across the domed shell from front to back, numbered 1 to 5, while the cheerful yellow head, orange body and all four legs are painted as part of the single base. Each shell piece is a different bold colour: yellow, red, cobalt blue, green and orange, with black tortoiseshell scute markings painted consistently across all five pieces so the classic hexagonal shell pattern flows across the colour changes. It’s one of the most satisfying designs in the Lanka Kade 1–5 range — children are quite literally building the shell onto the tortoise.
The tortoise face is wonderfully friendly: a round golden head with a black dot eye and a curved smile, stretching out on a yellow neck to the left. All four orange legs have black painted toe detail. At 89mm tall and 158mm wide, this is the lowest and widest of the MDF 1–5 puzzles — perfectly mirroring the tortoise’s naturally flat, broad silhouette. Made from MDF. Suitable from 10 months.
