A two-piece set from Mayoral that manages to be both practical and genuinely smart. The rugby shirt is in bold alternating raspberry and cream stripes with a classic flat polo collar, long sleeves with ribbed cream cuffs and a two-button placket at the neck. The dungarees are in a warm camel brushed cotton-blend fabric — slightly textured, soft-backed and noticeably warm — making this a proper autumn and winter outfit rather than just a transitional one. The bib has a buttoned chest patch pocket at the centre, the wide straps fasten with two brown wooden buttons each at the bib shoulders, and the ankle cuffs are neatly ribbed. An elasticated waistband at the back and inner leg popper fastenings make dressing straightforward.
