Tiger & Cub Puzzle | Lanka Kade

A beautifully warm wooden puzzle from Lanka Kade — four chunky interlocking pieces that build a mother tiger and her cub in glorious orange. The adult tiger forms three pieces, painted entirely in bold orange with thick black diagonal stripe markings running consistently across all three, and a wonderfully expressive face: large round eyes with white highlights, a big black nose, white muzzle with whisker dot marks, and a curved smile. The upright striped tail sweeps upward on the rear piece. Tucked between her front and rear legs, nestled in the negative space, is the tiger cub — a single orange piece with its own simplified smiling face, black stripe markings and curling tail.

The puzzle mechanic is the same tender discovery as the Elephant & Baby: children find that the cub fits inside the mother. Once assembled, it stands freestanding — a striking little object in any nursery. At £6.50 it’s a perfect gift at any occasion. Dimensions: 115mm W × 92mm H × 25mm D.
