Few toys cause quite the same reaction as a car transporter. The Speedy Monkey Car Transporter is a beautifully considered wooden set — a wide-cab truck in deep navy with white graphic detailing, pulling a natural wood double-deck trailer with white metal hinge arms that converts between stacked and ramped positions for loading and unloading. Small wooden peg stops on each deck keep the cars safely in place during play.
Four wooden cars are included, each in a different style and in Speedy Monkey’s coordinated Scandi palette of dusty sage, duck-egg, rust and terracotta tones: a vintage open-top sports car/roadster in sage green, a GT sports coupé with rear spoiler in rust, a compact hatchback in deep terracotta, and a rounded SUV in dusty duck-egg blue. All four sit perfectly on the two trailer decks, two per level. Lift the ramp to load, tilt it down to drive them off.
A satisfying, well-proportioned set that develops fine motor skills, spatial reasoning and imaginative role play. Presented in a Speedy Monkey gift box with rope carry handle. A wonderful birthday gift for children who love vehicles. Also by Speedy Monkey: the Camper Van Multi Activity Walker.
