BIG ROLLER RATTLE | SPEEDY MONKEY

A beautifully designed wooden rattle that does far more than rattle. The Speedy Monkey Fox Roller Rattle has two large dusty sage-blue painted wooden disc faces — one decorated with an illustrated fox face in warm brown tones, the other with a painted butterfly motif — connected by three natural wood spindle rods. Threaded along the spindles is a collection of wooden sensory elements in different shapes: a mustard yellow ring, a white wooden bead, a dark navy bead, a rust brown square, a sage green daisy flower, a blush pink triangle and a white wooden crescent arc. A carved rust-coloured oak leaf hangs from the lower spindle on a thin loop, swaying and spinning with every movement.

The whole thing sits on a curved white rocker base so it rolls and rocks when baby bats at it, encouraging them to reach, grasp and follow the movement. The rattle sound from the beads sliding along the spindles stimulates auditory development, while the mix of shapes, textures and colours supports early sensory exploration and fine motor skills. Equally suited to tummy time, sitting play and floor exploration.
