Mayoral’s Children’s Navy Duffle Coat is cut in the proper duffle silhouette — A-line, mid-thigh length, generous and roomy enough to layer over the thickest of winter knits — and finished with the kind of construction detail that sets it apart from a standard children’s coat.

The outer cloth is a smooth, dense wool-look face fabric with a slightly brushed melton finish — the look and feel of a traditional wool duffle coat, in a composition that’s practical, durable and easy to care for. Two dark espresso brown leather-look toggle sets run down the centre front, each a traditional tapered toggle threaded through a braided cord loop and fastening into a leather-look D-ring — proper duffle toggles, not decorative buttons. Behind them, a concealed zip adds a second layer of closure and wind resistance. The fixed hood is large and generous, lined throughout with a quilted navy fabric, and the sleeves have vertical channel quilting for added warmth and structure.
