The cinnamon terracotta peplum top has a gathered flounced peplum frill at the hem — from the back just as charming as the front — with slightly puffed long sleeves that gather into a soft ruched elasticated cuff at the wrist. At the centre chest, a large raised multi-fabric snail appliqué shows two snails facing each other nose-to-nose: their bodies are in a cream ribbed fabric with embroidered facial features and antennae, while their shells are in contrasting fabric panels — one a deep raspberry with a dusty pink inner circle, the other warm cinnamon with a blush pink centre — the whole appliqué outlined in white blanket stitch. It’s the kind of detail that belongs in a boutique window.

The leggings are cream/ivory cotton jersey with an all-over scattered polka dot print in organic rounded blobs of mustard yellow, terracotta, burnt orange and burgundy — a warm, imperfect dot that feels hand-painted rather than mechanical.
