LITTLE PEOPLE BIG DREAMS: JANE GOODALL (HB)

Part of the beloved Little People, BIG DREAMS series — beautifully illustrated biographical picture books that introduce young children to the lives of remarkable women and men from history and today. This volume tells the story of Jane Goodall, one of the world's greatest scientists and the most famous primatologist who ever lived.

When Jane was little, her father gave her a toy chimpanzee called Jubilee. That single gift sparked a lifelong passion for animals that would change the world. As soon as she could, Jane went to Africa to study chimpanzees in their natural habitat, living alongside them in the wild and making extraordinary discoveries about their behaviour, social bonds and intelligence. Her pioneering research revolutionised our understanding of primates — and of ourselves. Today she is one of the world's most important voices for animal rights and conservation.

Told in simple, engaging language with warm and expressive illustrations by Beatrice Cerocchi, this is an inspiring introduction to a truly extraordinary life. A facts and photos section at the back brings Jane's story into the real world.
