Fire Engine 1-10 Puzzle | Lanka Kade

A wonderfully detailed wooden number puzzle from Lanka Kade — ten interlocking jigsaw pieces that slot together to build a classic UK fire engine. This one is quite different from the animal puzzles in the range: instead of a rainbow colour gradient, the entire engine is painted red with a fully illustrated scene. The cab shows two firefighters in yellow helmets and dark jackets (the driver holding a radio), with a blue flashing light on the roof. The body carries the distinctive white reflective stripe across the top and the classic yellow and black chequered livery stripe below — unmistakeably a British fire engine. Two large black wheels with yellow hubs complete the picture.

Because all ten pieces are red, the number sequence on each piece does more of the ordering work here than in the animal puzzles — making this a slightly more challenging and rewarding step up. A brilliant puzzle for any child who’s obsessed with emergency vehicles. Dimensions: 195mm W × 133mm H × 25mm D.
