Mealtimes deserve a little magic. The Sophie Allport Fairground Ponies Children’s Melamine Cutlery Set is a 3-piece knife, fork and spoon set with stainless steel heads and chunky powder-pink melamine handles — sized for little hands and shaped to encourage correct cutlery grip from an early age.

Each piece features a different Fairground Ponies character repeating in a column down its handle: the fork is decorated with a circus acrobat in pink riding a galloping dapple-grey pony while holding a heart-shaped balloon garland; the knife with a prancing white carousel pony rearing up with decorative pink ribbons and a saddle; and the spoon with a pink-tutu ballerina acrobat seated on a trotting grey pony with one arm raised. All motifs are illustrated in Sophie Allport’s signature delicate hand-drawn style in soft pinks, greys and blush tones on a powder-pink melamine ground.

Beautifully presented in a Sophie Allport Fairground Ponies gift box in pale blush-pink, illustrated with the full circus scene — prancing white horses, acrobats, a trapeze artist, a red and white striped circus tent and pastel-coloured balloons. A wonderful gift for little girls. Dishwasher safe. Coordinates with the matching Fairground Ponies melamine plate and bowls. By Sophie Allport.
