Dinosaur A-Z Alphabet Puzzle | Lanka Kade

A truly spectacular wooden alphabet puzzle from Lanka Kade — twenty-six interlocking jigsaw pieces, one for every letter a to z, that slot together to build a magnificent long-neck dinosaur nearly half a metre wide. The brachiosaurus sweeps in a graceful S-curve: the neck arches down from the body to a cheerful smiling head at piece a, the back rises to its highest point in the middle of the alphabet, and the tail curves in a looping arc all the way to piece z at the tip. Each piece is a different colour following the full rainbow spectrum from red at the nose to bright green at the tail, with a lowercase white letter printed clearly on every piece — lowercase, not capitals, which is how children first learn to read and write.

The result, when fully assembled, is one of the most beautiful objects in the Lanka Kade range — a 540mm-wide rainbow dinosaur that’s as much a display piece as a puzzle. Children can build it letter by letter, colour by colour, or challenge themselves to complete it from memory. The cheerful red head with its black dot eye and smiling face makes piece ‘a’ an irresistible place to start.
