Butterfly Wool Felt Baby Mobile | Koseli Handmade

Six individually hand-embroidered wool felt butterflies in three beautiful colourways — mint green, dusky rose and coral pink — hanging from a natural wooden embroidery hoop on white cotton strings. Each string has a small white wool felt pom-pom ball threaded mid-way, and a single large white felt pom-pom gathers all the strings together at the top of the hoop. The effect is delicate, airy and quietly magical — the butterflies turn and drift gently in any movement of air.

Each butterfly is slightly padded and three-dimensional, with a warm sandy cream felt body, two thin wire antennae with curled tips, and multi-coloured embroidered polka dot markings on the wings. The three colourways come in pairs: two mint green with scattered yellow, red and orange dots; two dusky rose with coral and pink dot markings; and two larger coral salmon butterflies with ruffled scalloped wing edges and yellow and orange polka dots. All six are slightly different in size, the coral pair being the largest.

Handmade and embroidered in Nepal under fair trade conditions from 100% wool felt by Koseli Handmade. Each piece is made individually so slight natural variations should be expected. A beautiful nursery decoration and a very lovely new baby gift — particularly for a spring or summer nursery.
