Each shell piece is a different bold colour: yellow, red, cobalt blue, green and orange, with black tortoiseshell scute markings painted consistently across all five pieces so the classic hexagonal shell pattern flows across the colour changes. It’s one of the most satisfying designs in the Lanka Kade 1–5 range — children are quite literally building the shell onto the tortoise.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eThe tortoise face is wonderfully friendly: a round golden head with a black dot eye and a curved smile, stretching out on a yellow neck to the left.
